Women’s Ministry
Titus 2 says “Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.”
At FCC, the women’s ministry purpose to live out this scripture passage and while doing it, love one another, pray for another, and fellowship with one another. We would invite all ladies to get involved with one another and attend a few of the women’s ministry opportunities available to them.
We have quarterly women’s brunches that are held on Saturday mornings in the sanctuary. These are announced a few weeks before it occurs in the bulletin. We also have a Bible Study and a Ladies Book Discussion group (Tuesday afternoons) available to all women interested in sharing God’s Word and truth with each another weekly. For those ladies who enjoy a special craft or hobby, there is also a Ladies Hobby Night that meets once a month (the last Monday of each month) in the kitchen. We always enjoy great fellowship with one another at bridal or baby showers at the church when the time comes too!
